Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I know I have not posted in a while but life is busy during this time of year. Not really in the Spirit of Christmas yet. I did put of lights outside and they are beautiful. The tree is waiting for decorations as is the rest of the house. My family is coming soon so when they arrive I think that might help.

Here is some news from Mirandagirldesigns: sales have been very slow for me since before Thanksgiving. Halloween was awesome. Things were selling like crazy. So because of the slowdown I have readventured back into my crocheting and have designed some new hats for babies and everyone else. This was something taught to me by my grandmother and I have loved trying to make up new things like she did. So these are now for sale in my shop as well as all the paper piecings and occasional cards that I love to make.

If I do not blog again until the new year, have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Fall is here!!!

Finally it is cool enough to turn off the air conditioning. I've been really busy lately. I have been making giftcard holders for my mom to sell at a craft fair and some for my etsy shop as well. I have been making some new paper piecings too.

Halloween is coming...

Well, It is that time of year that I truely miss. It is still hot and humid in Florida. We just came back from the Midwest this weekend and it was beautiful. This is my most favorite time of year. So I made some fall things to remind me of the crisp air and beautiful colors.

I have been tagged. That's a first!

I have to write 6 things about myself. Here goes it....

1. I have to have my iced tea everyday or I feel like something is severely missing.
2. I have to create something in my scrapbook room everyday or else I will lose my sanity.
3. I buy way to much scrapbooking stuff even though I don't need it. Yes, I am a collector of all things paper.
4. I am not a statistic. I have successfully raised a daughter who is well-balanced and happy after being a very young teenage mother to her.
5. I love ETSY.
6. I have the ability to hold a conversation with complete strangers and my family can't stand it. They get extremely embarrassed by me.

I'M SOOO EXCITED!!!!

I finally after 5 months of being on ETSY, I made my first sale yesterday. What a great feeling to have your art finally justified with someone wanting to buy it. It is so awesome. Well, I spent today scrapbook shopping and trying out some new stuff. I will post those new items soon.
